Do I have to inform my mortgage provider if I want to rent out my property in Eindhoven?

In nearly all cases, you'll have to inform your mortage providor, as well as ask permission to rent out the property. Especially if it's a property with a regular mortage. In most cases, the mortgage conditions will say that the property is intented for personal use. If you were to let out the property without permission, you run the risk of them ending the mortage, or demanding the entire amount paid back in full.

Which type of properties are selling well in Eindhoven?

There are definitely trends in Eindhoven: certain types of property are selling better than others. We're mostly seeing that (new build)apartments are doing very well, stemming from the need for starting- and middle income properties. Energy sufficiënt, new build properties are doing especially well at the moment. Having amenities nearby also seems to be very important. In Strijp / Oud-Strijp, there is currently a lot for sale, plenty of new build or redevelopment, which draws in a lot of starters. In Woensel, the value is on the cheaper side as far as average value goes, which has increased the flow. In the centre we see that, although there is less available, the properties are selling faster and for a higher price. Finally, Stratum is very popular and nearby areas such as Meerhoven are also doing very well. The price development here is very positive.
