New energy in Amsterdam: Renthouse becomes Interhouse

New energy in Amsterdam: Renthouse becomes Interhouse

These are dynamic times in the world of residential letting. With shifting laws and regulations, the role of a letting agent and property manager has changed significantly. Landlords increasingly feel the need for more support, something that is newly confirmed every single day. This requires more dedication and (market) knowledge. Interhouse has a clear goal: growth, grabbing new opportunities with both hands and starting new chapters.

One of those new chapters began when Renthouse, based in Amstelveen, approached Interhouse. The collaboration between Renthouse and Interhouse has existed for more than 15 years and has always been grounded in shared values, mutual trust, and a joint belief: successful letting and property management must be personal, meticulous, and backed by knowledge.

Renthouse becomes Interhouse

After more than 55 years of service and 3 generations of family-led property expertise, Renthouse officially ended and transferred its operations to Interhouse on July 1st 2025. This transition marks the end of an era and at the same time, feels like a natural step forward.

Interhouse Amsterdam has taken over most of Renthouse’s services. This means that landlords, tenants and fellow agents can continue to count on the same personal service, specialised knowledge, and worry-free property management.

An added 40 years of experience

As part of this transition, Marcel de Wijs and Quinten Gruwel have also joined Interhouse Amsterdam. With them, we add over 40 years of experience, expertise and a strong network to our Amsterdam office and the Interhouse group.

We’re look forward to supporting both existing and new clients. With short lines of communication, powerful systems and even more drive, we’re ready for what lies ahead.
