Reviews Interhouse Rotterdam

I don’t understand why this company gets so many 5-star reviews. Years ago, I rented a 20 m² flat through Interhouse for €800 a month. After I was lucky enough to find another place, I wanted to terminate the lease, but they wouldn’t let me. So I said I would take this overpriced flat to the rent assessment committee, and then they threatened to sue me (Mariniersweg). So, in addition to being milked dry, you are also threatened with empty words. They actively participate in and profit from the housing shortage. After I said I wasn’t afraid of this cheaper form of scare tactics, I was allowed to terminate the lease, but I lost my deposit, which is a nice two months’ worth that Interhouse pocketed. All the evidence is there, and I would strongly advise against this company as far as possible. Unless you are a shady slumlord looking for a partner in crime. Then you’ve come to the right place. And don’t even think about emailing them. They know exactly what they are doing and prefer not to do anything over the phone. They prefer you to visit them so they can intimidate you, but unfortunately that didn’t work (well, in the sense that they stole 1600 euros from a student on top of the already exorbitant rent for the doghouse that it was). Letters from the bailiff about the owner of the property, with whom Interhouse does business, arrived weekly. All in all, completely written off and very strange that these people can thrive with modern theft.
