When I first viewed the property and signed the lease, everything seemed highly professional. The viewing was smooth, and the key handover process was efficient. They assured me that any issues with the property would be taken care of promptly — and I genuinely believed I was in good hands.

However, things took a complete turn after I moved in. Every time I raised a maintenance issue, their response was dismissive. Instead of resolving the problems, they consistently blamed me and insisted it was my responsibility to fix things — even for issues that clearly existed before I moved in. Nothing was ever properly fixed during my entire tenancy.

The worst part came when I gave notice to move out. Suddenly, they became overly critical and tried to deduct as much as possible from my deposit for “damages” that were already there at move-in. Despite providing evidence, they took back most of my deposit. It felt like a deliberate tactic.

Frankly, I don’t understand how they get so many 5-star reviews — it feels fishy. From my experience, I can confidently say: do not expect to get your deposit back. If you’re an expat or unfamiliar with Dutch rental laws, be especially careful. You deserve better.
